New clickable route map, an easy-to-navigate layout, detailed station information and nearby entertainment options are all part of the MTR Corporation’s enhanced customer website at www.mtr.com.hk, designed to assist passengers before, during, and after their journeys on the MTR. For the first time, a special version of the website will be tailored for viewing on mobile phones, helping passengers plan their MTR journey anytime, anywhere.
The most commonly used Journey Planner has been spiced up, now offering essential information with just one click, from travel times to food and attraction suggestions. In addition, a new MTR forum offers a medium for MTR Club members to share and discuss their favourite restaurants and hot spots near MTR stations.
From 18 June to 8 July 2009, MTR Club members are encouraged to share opinions and thoughts about their favourite restaurants or fun places to visit under the MTR Forum for a chance to win a dinner-date with renowned local model Ms Chrissie Chau. Members can also test their knowledge using the MTR Journey Planner and answer three questions a week for three consecutive weeks to get a chance to enter a lucky draw to win a visit to Ngong Ping 360 with famous singer Mr William Chan.
