Meeting of INTERPOL Asia-Pacific Expert Group On Asian Organized Crime concluded

The 6th Meeting of INTERPOL Asia-Pacific Expert Group on Asian Organized Crime, co-hosted by INTERPOL and the Hong Kong Police Force between June 23 and 24, was successfully concluded June 24.

Held in Hong Kong for the first time, the meeting brought together some 40 senior criminal investigators from 14 member jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific Region, including Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macao SAR, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Korea and Thailand, to discuss current and future threats and challenges associated with Asian Organized Crime (AOC) in this international forum.

Extra show of "B-Boyz and Ballerina" by Gorilla Crew of South Korea

An additional performance of the high-energy dance theatre "B-Boyz and Ballerina" will be held on August 8 at 3pm at Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall due to overwhelming response to scheduled shows.

Performed by the award-winning dancers from South Korea's Gorilla Crew, "B-Boyz and Ballerina" is one of the highlights of the large-scale summer festival "International Arts Carnival" (IAC) presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

2nd Hong Kong Games holds opening ceremony

The 2nd Hong Kong Games (HKG) were officially launched after the Chief Executive, Mr Donald Tsang, declared the opening at Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground on May 9. Starting from today, some 2,300 athletes from the 18 districts will be taking on each other and demonstrating their mettle in six sports.
