A Fun Journey on the MTR with Doraemon and Friends

Well-loved characters from the Doraemon cartoons will arrive at the MTR in a series of limited edition Souvenir Ticket Sets beginning on 28 June 2009.

Each set includes two specially-designed MTR souvenir tickets featuring popular characters such as Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka and friends, a ticket holder and electronic gadgets featuring Doraemon, Nobita or Shizuka. The first set will be available on 28 June 2009, with the other two sets following on 5 and 12 July respectively.

Each souvenir ticket is valid for one single journey to any destination on the MTR on or before 31 August 2009. The souvenir tickets will be returned to passengers after use. Each ticket set is priced at $88 and can be purchased at all MTR Customer Service Centres (except Airport Express, Light Rail, Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Racecourse, Sunny Bay and Disneyland Resort stations). Each person is limited to two sets per purchase while stocks last.

MTR Club members can enjoy priority purchase through the Corporation’s website at www.mtr.com.hk from 12 to 24 June 2009 or make a cash purchase in person by bringing an email notification to MTR Travel at Admiralty Station on 26 and 27 June 2009.

* Excluding the Airport Express, East Rail Line First Class, journeys to and from Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations, Light Rail, MTR Bus and MTR Feeder Bus.
